Copilot Readiness Audit

Find what Microsoft 365 Copilot could expose — and fix it before rollout.

Duration3–4 weeksInvestmentTypically $10,000–$25,000

The problem

Copilot answers questions using everything a user can already open. In most tenants that includes years of overshared SharePoint sites, org-wide sharing links and HR or finance files that were never meant to be broadly visible. The first time a pilot user asks Copilot about salaries or an acquisition, the rollout stops.

Who it's for

Organizations piloting Microsoft 365 Copilot or planning to expand beyond a pilot group.

What's included

  • Oversharing assessment using SharePoint Advanced Management and Microsoft Purview reports
  • Heatmap of your highest-risk sites: sensitive content combined with broad access
  • Interim protections for the worst sites (Restricted Content Discovery, DLP for Copilot)
  • Sensitivity label and data loss prevention design
  • Safe test prompts run with a consenting pilot user to confirm fixes
  • Phased Copilot rollout plan with readiness gates for each wave

Frequently asked questions

Do you need admin access to our tenant?

We need read access to SharePoint and Purview reports for the assessment. Any configuration changes are made by your team or by us only with written approval.

Will this slow down our rollout?

It usually speeds it up. A pilot that finds oversharing halfway through tends to pause for months; an audit up front keeps each wave moving.

We only have Microsoft 365 E3. Is that enough?

Yes. Copilot licenses include SharePoint Advanced Management, and E3 includes core Purview labeling and DLP. We flag where E5 features would help.
